[FIRST LOOK] Hot Chelle Rae Releases Video for New Single "I Like It Like That"

Hot Chelle Rae's new music video for "I Like It Like That" is bursting with good times, good vibes and good, uncomplicated fun.

Showing footage from the group's recent show at the Hollywood Palladium and "party central" at the back of their tour bus, the video is the perfect companion to the happy-go-lucky song that will help to extend the sunny days of summer far into the dark days of fall and winter. Hot Chelle Rae's pals from New Boyz are featured on the song and appear in the video as well.

"I Like It Like That" is the follow up to Hot Chelle Rae's chart-topping, double platinum selling smash hit "Tonight Tonight," which was a staple on top forty radio this summer and also a massive smash hit overseas. The track was co-written by the group's Ryan Follese and Nash Overstreet along with GRAMMY winning producer/songwriter Evan "Kidd" Bogart (Beyonce, Britney Spears, Adam Lambert), Emanuel Kiriakou (Jason DeRulo), Lindy Robbins (Demi Lovato), Andrew Goldstein, Dan Book and Alexie Misoul.

The Nashville outfit of Ryan Follese, Nash Overstreet, Ian Keaggy and Jamie Follese is currently working on final mixes for their sophomore album, titled "Whatever," set for release November 29 on RCA Records. And if lyrics like, "I like it like that, windows down chilling with the radio on" and "I like it like that. Sun's so hot, make the girls take it all off," it sounds like that with this new single and "Whatever" the fun is not going to stop anytime soon.

Whoever thought that music in Detroit had lost it way after the heydays of Motown Records, techno house and garage rock better think again. The pop world is about to get stormed by a slew of talented Detroit natives including newcomers like Porcelain Black, JMSN and Rai Knight. All these artists are loud and proud about Detroit, and they're helping to rebrand the city as a breeding ground for raw new talent.

A other promising new Detroit act to add to the list of newcomers is Eskay. He has been writing and producing for acts like Christian TV and Rocky Loves Emily but he's is now getting ready to go at it solo with his brand-new tune "Electric Love" that features his pal, MC Baby G. The song is out on iTunes now and is taken from his forthcoming new LP "Contagious" that will be released on November 8.

By tastefully using just the right amount of AutoTune and liberally applying silky synths, the radio-ready "Electric Love" is a hyper-melodic and instantly catchy pop tune that fans of Owl City and Go Periscope will immediately appreciate. The song not only shows off Eskay's knack for serving up potent and infectious pop melodies but also his production savvy.

[FRESH NEW] Stella Le Page "The Morning After"

Stella Le Page is probably known to most insiders for playing the cello in Plan B's backing band. While on the road with the chart-topping U.K. artist, Le Page has also put out some excellent covers that have started to get her noticed. Listen for example to the arresting beauty of her revamp of Nancy Sinatra's timeless "Bang Bang."

But this 25 year-old Londoner has a lot more on her sleeves than performing other people's songs. She's about to break out with her own collections of tunes on her debut EP that she will be release soon. The first track from the EP that she's sharing with the world is the breathtaking "The Morning After."

Introduced by the instantly nostalgic chimes that resemble the sound of a classic music box, the slow-churning "The Morning After" is a gorgeous and lush slice of alt pop. The song's orchestral undertones and Le Page's introverted, subtle delivery instantly takes you to a dreamy, whimsical world filled with innocence that contrast nicely with her very sobering reflections about "getting carried away."

She wonders, "Nobody is perfect, but was it worth it? I hope the guilt will go away. There was passion in our eyes if I remember right. [We] should have waited 'till the morning after, there is no one else to blame, we all get carried away." But don't let Le Page's lyrical doubt and reflections fool you. She wants you to dream a little while longer regardless of what happened last night.

If you're turned on by the retro pop of newcomers like Lana Del Rey, I highly recommend you check out the music by Stella Le Page. Look out for her forthcoming new EP on the independent, French-based Anchor Factory label.

[FREE MP3] Rai Knight "What I Never Told You"

Rai-knight

Rai Knight puts her heart and soul in her new pop joint "What I Never Told You." After tracks like "Pivotal," "Without U" and "Let Me Go," the emerging Detroit artist slows down the pace on this groovy new mid-tempo ballad that helps further define her distinct brand of pop.

Produced by Atlanta-based What The Tay, "What I Never Told You" is a delicate, soulful and emotionally-honest slow jam that tells a story about falling in and out of love. "Once I was lost, now I'm found," she sings. "I paid my dues, waited for you. We're falling apart. I'm gonna give this a good thought. I'm gonna hold you accountable. Just thank me for being be bold."

"What I Never Told You" once again echoes the Detroit soul that has inspired Knight so much. But her sound is primarily marked by a fresh and spunky edge that is completely contemporary and uniquely hers. With every track she releases it's great to see that Knight is slowly but surely coming into her own. After moving to Los Angeles, then to Scottland and now back in Detroit, Knight has found a groove that not only feels right but is also one to believe in. Rai Knight is a talent to keep your eye (and ear) on.
