JoJo has taken a 6 year hiatus from touring and recording but now is back stronger than ever. The young singer is making that loud and clear on her tour with Joe Jonas and Jay Sean. Performing as a special guest in Atlanta earlier this week, JoJo has stirred up renewed interest after releasing a remake of Drake's single "Marvin's Room," and her lead single to her highly anticipated upcoming album "Jumping Trains" entitled "Disaster."
Despite the absence from the stage, JoJo's loyal fan base filled The Tabernacle with chants and homemade signs that welcomed back JoJo with open arms. Entering the stage in a sexy yet chic outfit, JoJo was nothing but smiles as screams erupted and hands flew in the air to greet her.
JoJo with the company of her lead female guitar player and the rest of her band kicked off the show with arguably her most known track, "Leave (Get Out)." As the crowd sung almost as loud as JoJo, it was obvious that the Boston singer was comfortable and happy to be back pleasing her fans.
Prior to the show, JoJo chatted with ArjanWrites.com about her time away from the spotlight. The singer admits that she was a little hesitant about what to expect from being gone. "The reception has been great so far, I was worried especially with cursing on a record or even cursing at a show. Wearing outfits a little more revealing things like that made me nervous especially with my younger fans," she smiles. "
"I never want to take it too far but also want to be true to myself as a young woman and how I'm feeling and the content of the music. But I think it's been a pretty smooth transition."
