[FIRST LISTEN] Adrian Lux Releases "Alive" Featuring The Good Natured

Swedish dance pop producer Adrian Lux teams up with The Good Natured on his brand-new single "Alive" that was released in Europe today. The combination of Lux's cutting-edge pop sound and Sarah McIntosh's mesmerizing vocal delivery results in a sensational new track that is both energizing and beautiful.

In other words, "Alive" brings a rush to your head and a tear to your eye.

"Alive" is the first single from Lux's debut album that he is currently putting the final touches on. This new single follows tracks like "Can't Sleep," "Strawberry" and the very good "Teenage Crime" that was included on Swedish House Mafia's "One" LP last year. Since then, Lux has been working and producing with a bunch of newcomers including Rebecca & Fiona and Rye Rye (on his "Rapclash" remix).

Raised in Stockholm by a former punk rocker and a fashion photographer/filmmaker, Lux has a very strong point of view when it comes to his music. "This is going to sound weird," says Lux in press release. "But it's hard for me to not write single-type songs—tracks you'll want to listen to a million times. And that's okay. It's better to make one of those than three that sound good, but not great."

"Alive" is available on iTunes Sweden now, but you preview it in the player below. UPDATE: You can listen to the full version of "Alive" right here. Courtesy of the fine folks at Ultra.

[REMIX] Listen to Maroon 5 "Move Like Jagger" Roofeoo x DJ A.N.S. Remix (Exclusive Remix)

MOVE LIKE JAGGER COVER

There's nothing stopping that flaming hot "Move Like Jagger" which is topping the charts around the world. In fact, the song has become a bit of a global obsession with people everywhere whistling along to that deliciously infectious chorus. I wouldn't be surprised if twenty years from now, we are still grooving along to it as if it came out yesterday. This one is going to stand the test of time. No doubt.

In many regards, "Move Like Jagger" is the perfect pop song that serves up a ferociously hooky melody that instantly brings out the sunshine no matter how rainy your day is. The song also gave Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera a much-deserved hit, plus it firmly positions Benny Blanco as a top producer who masterfully pulled every piece of the song together in one tight package. It's perfection, quite frankly.

Other producers, DJs and remixers are obsessed with "Move Like Jagger" as well. Do a search on YouTube and you will find a slew of reinterpretations of the song that have helped create the global Jagger phenomenon. Even Benny Blanco created an alternative version of the song together with up and comer Mac Miller.

One of the very best remakes of "Move Like Jagger" is this brand-new version that was produced by TV On The Radio's Roofeoo and DJ A.N.S. The two indie-loving, beat-happy and Jagger-obsessed Brookyln hipsters took Blanco's original apart and meticulously put it back together in their own unique way. It's a fresh and energetic new take with a banging new rhymtm track and a potent rave punch that is beyond excellent and which is ultimately a tribute to the remarkable pop quality original. [REMIX] Listen to Coldplay "Paradise" (Fedde Le Grand Remix)

4539186

Coldplay's grand soundscapes, anthemic hooks and Chris Martin's instantly recognizable vocals are the perfect ingredients for DJs to stir up big dancefloor remakes. Recent examples of that are the mighty (and very memorable) revamps of "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" by people like Avicii and Swedish House Mafia.

Dutch spinmeister Fedde Le Grand was commissioned by Coldplay to remix their new single "Paradise" that is taken from the group's forthcoming new LP, "Mylo Xyloto." Le Grand's seamless remake of "Paradise" is a beautifully-crafted, big room reinterpretation of the original that is driven by bright melodies and lush synth chords that makes up one, cohesive escapist dance jam of Balearic proportions.

Remixing this new Coldplay record closes out an incredible year for Fedde Le Grand who celebrated four number one dance records and played three sold-out world tours in 2011. His Coldplay remix premiered on Pete Tong's BBC Radio One show this weekend and with full support of Coldplay it is being released today as a digital download on Beatport. You can preview Coldplay "Paradise" (Fedde Le Grand Remix) on Beatport.
