Check out a final compilation of footage that I shot on the Red Carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles last week. It features brief chats with Liz Lee (of MTV's My Life As Liz), pop culture sensation Rebecca Black, Miguel, the cast of MTV's Death Valley, MTV host Chanel, and Beau Mirchoff and Brett Davern from MTV's new hit show Awkward. Watch and see what Liz and Rebecca have to say about our beloved pop gal Robyn. (I couldn't resist throwing in that question!)
There's not a lot that can be revealed about Bossy Love besides the fact that the group's brand-spanking new "Fool Of Love" is a ferociously delicious, '80s inspired pop track that is marked by its hyper-infectious Stock, Aitken and Waterman-styled production.
It's as if Bossy Love threw Mel & Kim, Kylie, Rick Ashley and Jason Donavan in a blender and gave it candy-coated 2011 twist. This one has good times written all over it.
So without providing any more detail about who and what is Bossy Love I will just let the music speak for it self. Roll up your legwarmers, pop on the skinny tie and boogie your way onto the dancefloor. It's time to get down tonight with Bossy Love's "Fool Of Love." Listen to it after the break.
Cherrytree Records expands its unique brand of pop in an unexpected, yet very fitting new way with the introduction of Cherrytree Cola at Whole Foods today. The first batch of this fruity new soda pop will be presented this afternoon at the Whole Foods store in Vancouver, BC where none other than party rockers LMFAO will be signing Cherrytree Cola bottles.
Cherrytree Records (home of recording artists like Feist, Robyn, Sting, Far East Movement, LMFAO, Natalia Kills and many other) is known for their novel approach to bringing great pop to people, and the launch of Cherrytree Cola is another great and irreverent example of that.
Cherrytree Records founder Martin Kierszenbaum and his team have worked in close partnership with legendary beverage maker Fentimans to brew a flavorful new cherry cola that fits the unique Cherrytree Records brand.
What makes this soda pop stand out from the others is not only its masterfully-tuned cherry flavor, but also Fentimans' unique brewing method. It's produced using a time-honored tradition of brewing and fermenting herbs and milled roots over several days as compared to hours' production time for typical soft drinks.
Cherrytree Cola will be available in select Whole Foods stores in the next few weeks and rolled out across North America in the next few months. Stay tuned to drinkthemusic.com for updates. And don't be surprised when you will see Cherrytree Cola pop up in music videos from some of your favorite artist who are raving about the unique taste of this new soda pop. Watch a special message from LMFAO about the introduction of Cherrytree Cola after the break.
