Martin Solveig's much-anticipated follow up to his global smash "Hello" is the equally fun, energetic and quirky "Big In Japan." Solveig produced a brand-new edit of the song that cuts about a minute from the original to create a potent, radio-friendly single version.

"Big In Japan" continues where "Hello" left off with Solveig's signature pop-savvy and thumping dance beats and the cheery, infectious vocals of Dragonette's Martina Sorbara.

The track also features Japanese girl pop group Idoling!!! who were created by Tokyo's Fuji TV and are a downright reality TV sensation in Japan. The combination of Dragonette and Idoling!!! is a match made in Harajuku heaven that delivers "Big In Japan" a solid pop punch.

Solveig gives all of these eccentric ingredients a firm stir and it sure looks like he will be serving up another massive hit of global proportion. Listen to the single edit of "Big In Japan" after the break.

[SINGLE REVIEW] Labrinth feat. Tinie Tempah "Earthquake"

Artworks-000011603316-td08t2-crop

Labrinth and Tinie Tempah struck chart gold when they wrote and produced Tempah's breakout hit "Pass Out" together. The song debuted at number one in the U.K and was the best-selling U.K. single in 2010.

In my ARTIST #TALK on Wednesday, Tempah spoke candidly about the story behind "Pass Out" and the unique chemistry between him and Labrinth that led to a ground-breaking grime pop sound that globalized the sound of the London underground in an innovative new way.

Labrinth taps into that same progressive sonic pop vein on his explosive new single "Earthquake." Instead of relying on a tried and proven dubstep or hip pop groove to satisfy the taste of the moment, Labrinth serves up a fresh new twist on his slick pop sound that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.

In a recent interview, the soft-spoken Labrinth explained what drives his sonic experimentations. "When I'm indulging in a sound I always try and find myself in it," he says. "It's the same with fashion - and if I can't find myself in it, then I'll just leave it alone."

Confident, witty yet always polite, Labrinth boasts on this new song, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is something they call a ground-breaker. Let's bring the house down to rubble and dust 'cause we be crashing it up." His pal Tinie Tempah agrees and adds in the song's break, "Yo Labrinth, this one is feeling like a straight 10 on the richter scale."

"Earthquake" is a wildly unique powerhouse tune that shows off Labrinth's uncanny ability to write a hit track that is both forward and also very now. Listen to Labrinth feat. Tinie Tempah "Earthquake" after the break. ("Earthquake" will be released on October 23 on Syco/Sony Music).
