There's really no better way to kick your week into gear with a delicious new tune by pop siren Bossy Love. After unleashing "Opposites Attract" and "Fool Of Love," the eighties-loving, fashion-forward and Rihanna-obsessed pop singer reveals more of her infatuation with all things '80s and '90s on her brand-new single "Fight This Off." The super bouncy, totally fun and oh-so frothy tune was released to iTunes around the world last week and features Kween G of Killaqueenz who adds some spunk and swagger to the poptastic tune. The single comes along with a colorful and meticiously-styled video that fits the happy-go-lucky pop beats of the song perfectly. (Support new pop and download "Fight This Off" on iTunes.)
After goosebump-worthy covers of Demi Lovato's "Skycraper" and Lil Wayne's "How To Love," newcomer Brandyn Burnette turns it up a few notches with his beautifully-performed mash up of Gavin deGraw's "Not Over You" and Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" that comes along with a fitting video that I posted below.
This new song mash up is the prelude to the release of his own original song material that we first introduced you to back in February. Since then, Burnette has been shuttling between Los Angeles and his home in New York to work with a slew of savvy hitmaters to tune songs for his debut LP. Important part of his team is award-winning songwriter and Warner Music talent exec Kara Dioguardi who has taken the fresh-faced vocalist under her wings.
Burnette brings a welcome and distinct new voice to the pop scene. Not only is he a talented songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he also injects his heartfelt performance with a dose of raw emotion that fans instantly relate to. Check out his mash up of "Not Over You" and "It Will Rain" to get a taste of it.
