[REMIX] Avicii feat Kelis "Silhouettes" (Smoke & Mirrors Vocal Mix)

Avicii 450

A collaboration between Avicii and Kelis would seriously be a dance pop dream come true. This brand-new vocal mash up of Avicii's "Silhouettes" and Calvin Harris' "Bounce" featuring Kelis is the closest thing to enjoy until then. Avicii's "Levels" is blowing up around the world and with the full support of Interscope/Island I have no doubt that it will only be a matter of time before it crosses over into the pop charts. "Silhouettes" is a track Avicii crafted around the time of "Levels" earlier this year, and I'm sure it will surface in a big way as a follow up to "Levels." The daring fusion of Kelis' vocal track and Avicii's soaring synth arrangement on this Smoke & Mirrors Vocal Mix is not completely seamless, but it sure is imaginative, and quite frankly, anything that combines Swedish hot man Avicii and dance punk queen Kelis should be heard.

[REMIX] Pixie Lott "Kiss The Stars" (Kat Krazy Radio Edit) [Exclusive]

Pixie-Lott

After "All About Tonight" and "What Do You Take Me For," pop singer Pixie Lott is ready to storm the U.K. pop charts again with her forthcoming new single "Kiss The Stars" that is taken from her new "Young Foolish Happy" LP. It's another instantly infectious slice of sunshine pop with a stomping beat and Lott's slinky pop vocals. DJ/producer Kat Krazy, who previously remixed tracks for Far East Movement, Mike Posner, Mindless Behavior and Robyn, revamped "Kiss The Stars" and gave it sleek and subtle new disco groove that superbly captures the dancefloor joy of Lott's original. And here's a fun little factoid for all your Lott fans out there. "Kiss The Stars" was previously called "Kiss The Sky" until Lott changed her mind half-way during the recording to better reflect the sparkly production stylings of the song.
