On a Friday night in downtown Atlanta, a nice-sized crowd ventured into Vinyl to rock out and "erase" their worries away with The Knux. After a jamming opening set from both The United States of Atlanta and Jordy Towers, the duo's potent mixture of rock, hip-hop and pop put all spectators in an ecstatic mood. The drinks were flowing, people were dancing and most importantly everyone was having a great time.
After the openings acts wrapped up their show, The Knux's bass guitarist, DJ and drummer, walked on stage proudly wearing their Knux t-shirts and were shortly after joined by the Knux brothers known as Kentrell "Krispy" Lindsey and Alvin "Joey" Lindsey. After the eruption from the crowd died down, the opening guitar chords for "She's So Up" filled the airwaves and the eruption from the crowd started right back up.
However, The Knux weren't satisfied and demanded everyone in the venue to come as close to the stage as possible. Without hesitation the crowd ran closer to the duo as they started played the heavy guitar riff opener to "Maniac."
While the band had everyone rocking out, the duo made sure to show off their exceptional emcee skills, by hitting the crowd with their popular record "Cappuccino" off the first album, which put them on the map, followed by "Remind Me In 3 Days." With the head bobbing and dancing at an all time high for the night, the band continued with their Kid Cudi assisted single "Run" and transitioned into "Razorblade." Although The Knux have a solid flow, they made sure to incorporate a lot of guitar riffs that fused two genres together to make a unique and fun sound.
